Imagine what would happen if you combined a concert, a coffeehouse, and a spiritual experience all into one. You'd end up with one amazing church.
At Revolution we won't be secretive: We're about having a relationship with God - Jesus Christ. If you're looking for a place that will be shy, hiding what they believe this probably isn't it. We will be authentic about what we believe and why we believe it. That's right: the why is extremely important. We don't mind asking questions - we encourage it.
Also, we aren't about pointing fingers when someone does something wrong ... if we were, we'd end up pointing at ourselves quite a bit.
And to be completely honest, we acknowledge that church is usually boring - but the fact is God is amazing! The creator of the universe actually cares about you and me! Considering that, why should we have dull services that make us dislike church? If someone disagrees with us about a belief or a lifesytle or anything, we don't hate them - we just say, "Great, let's talk about this! Let's figure it out."
So check it out EVERY SUNDAY at 10:15am! Music is vitally important at Revolution. It can help to further relationships with God while at the same time making this clear so we can understand things in a deeper way. Because of these reasons we strive to have the best music we can.
We also think that community is important. Corporate America always tells us that we are "individuals" who want to buy their product. "All you need is a soda and you'll be cool - you don't need anyone else." And they do this while telling us that their product will get us friends! The fact is, we all need people, friends and good family. But we don't find these people by drinking the same pop. The "family" of God - these people who also share in their belief in Jesus - is a relationship way better than any idea put forth by large corporations. Having close relationships is so important that friendship is one of the most important things at Revolution. Basically, no matter how much Dr. Pepper salutes individuality we're all part of a community.
We want to be a community of people who come to learn about Jesus Christ, and build awesome relationships with God and each other.
We'll also have a great coffee bar, called He-Brews. Inside the atmosphere has wonderful lighting on dimmers and even a cool light show! The walls are painted red, and has somewhat of an "industrial" atmosphere. The services have tons of videos to help keep our attention and we use logical thoughts to figure out what is true and false. You're invited to check it out!
